Our Story

Jim and Necole Ryan had a longtime dream to open a restaurant and they turned their passion into a go-to spot for good eats and stiff drinks. Ryan’s Subs and Sports Grill was founded in 2009 and has been operating as a local hub for the Punta Gorda community ever since.

We are a family owned and operated restaurant with an open and inviting atmosphere. We pride ourselves on offering fantastic customer service and a diverse menu to customers that we treat like family. Our friendly staff will greet you with a smile and make sure you never leave hungry!

Our business offers great food at great prices and some of our most popular menu items include our famous subs and sandwiches, burgers, and pizza and wings. We have on-site televisions, a full bar, and weekly specials that will ensure a fun night out. We have also partnered with delivery services like Slice, Bite Squad, and Grubhub to get your food delivered to you in a timely manner if you choose to take advantage of our online ordering options.

Ryan’s Subs and Pubs is like- that cool neighborhood house with a wrap around porch, lots of tv’s and cool games that you hope to get invited to- but the FOOD is beyond amazing and the staff is so spectacular! We only found the place because the South Hound band plays there- we’ve been many times and you’ll not find a more low key place with great people and amazing food and awesome entertainment at such affordable prices anywhere! Go if you get a chance! All you can eat Fried Fish and Fries on Friday’s plus live entertainment. The fried mushrooms, pulled pork, pizza and Mahi are our favorites. A true, real Florida gem!
